The Stock Checking module allows you to record the results of physically counting stock items, and then entering the details into the system. The current stock file is then adjusted to reflect any discrepancies, found between this physical count and a set of stock values, which have been previously frozen. In this way, the actual stock situation is updated, and records on the system are brought into line with physical stock.

The stock check table can be created for a full stock check, which can include all products or a range of products, alternately, if the parameters are set correctly, a perpetual (PPI) stock-check.

You essentially have to go through 3 key stages (with an optional 4th), while performing a stock check:

• Re-Freeze Stock*
• Input Stock Count
